Tomato Sambar / Thakali sambar

TOMATO SAMBHAR

Tomato sambar is my husband’s all time favourite. When he was a bachelor , he and his friends had a great time preparing this sambar. He always say to me no sambar never tasted like that they prepared. Finally one day he prepared that to me. Really it was so good. This recipe is from the Tamil daily “dinakaran”. You too want to see a big smile in your hubby’s face try this.

What kind of sambar powder is used in this recipe, home made ? Branded ones ?

    Hi Aruna,
Thanks for stopping by. I used the home made sambar powder.
(If you are looking for any brand, MTR sambar powder is my choice. I have used it before, so good.)
