To prepare the stuffing

1.Heat oil in pan and add the chopped onion once it is transculent add the chopped tomato and well it is mashed well add all the ground powder except the garam masala.
2. After 2 mins. add the carrot and peas and cook it for another 2 mins.
3. Now add the cooked potato. (Microwave the potato for 6mins. or pressure cook it)
4.Add the garam masala , salt and the chopped cilantro (You can also add chopped mint)
5. mix everything together and cook it for 3 more mins. and remove it from fire.

To prepare the samosa
1.Cut the tortilla into half. (I made two samosa’s from one tortilla)
2. Now take one piece and fold one half of the piece.
3.cover the folded part with the other side. now you have a packet to fill the masala.
4.stuff the packet with masala prepared before .
and close it with the remaining part.
5. Mix 1 tbsp of maida/all purpose flour with little water and paste all the edges of the samosa with this paste. (Make sure the masala won’t come out )
6. Now heat enough oil in a pan and deep fry the both the sides.

7. Serve hot with tomato sauce or mint chutney. Good evening snack for this winter time. Great substitute for maida/all purpose samosa.

It is available in all the groceries stores in US. It looks like chapathi (mexican chapathi).
If you couldnt find it you can use pre made samosa sheets
