Keerai is one of the very nutritious food. We can change the famous quote “An apple a day…” like this “A Keerai a day keeps doctor away”. Here is a simple way to make a delicious poriyal.
Ingredients
Spinach (frozen/fresh) – 1 bunch
Chopped Onion – 1/2
Chopped green chilly – 1
Moongdal – 3 tbsp
Grated coconut – 4tbsp
Method
1.Wash the spinach and chop it finely.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and chopped onions and green chilly saute for 2 mins. and add the chopped spinach.Dont add any water.
3. Cook it for 5 more mins. Mean time cook the moong dal separetly.
4.Now add the moongdal and the grated coconut and salt and cook for another 2 mins.and serve hot.
