Okra with yoghurt/ Vendakkai yoghurt mix

When I was in school, the teachers used to say if somebody weak in maths “Hey! ask your mom to cook vendakkai for you”. I dont know whether there is any relationship between vendakkai and maths. I dont want to do a research in it. If any of u have any idea about this, I am very eager to hear from you.
