Quick and easy and a great evening snack for a cool weather.
Ingredients
Bread Slices – 6
Rice flour – 1/2 cup
Curd /yoghurt- 2 big spoon
Shredded Carrot -1/2 cup
Green chillies – 2
Onion – 1/2
Whole black pepper – 1tbsp
Baking soda – a pinch
Salt to taste
Cilantro
Method

1. Grind the bread slices using a coffee grinder or any other grinder. Dont add any water to it.

2. Add chopped green chillies, grated carrot, cilantro, baking soda, rice flour, curd and salt and mix everything together (like the batter for ural dal vada). Keep this batter aside for 10 minutes. If you need water add little water.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. To make vada

Take a small piece of aluminium foil spread some oil on it. Now make a small ball from the batter. Place it on the foil. flatten it and make a whole in the center and then put it into the oil. (you can also use your hand to make the vadai)Deep fry it both sides until it becomes crispy.
5. Serve hot with coconut chutney or tomato sauce.
Note: Avoid using water while making the batter. It should be not be more watery.
